At CEPR El Chaparral, we are participating in thePROA+ “Transfórmate” program(Program for Guidance, Advancement, and Educational Enrichment) in Andalusia.

It is designed to provide financial assistance, institutional support, and training to schools. Its goal is improve academic success rates and ensure student retention in those public elementary and secondary schools where a high percentage of young people in clear situations of socio-educational vulnerability.

The Program is aimed at public schools under the jurisdiction of the Regional Ministry of Education and Sports that have at least 30% of their student body classified as vulnerable, are located in ERACIS zones, or have Educational Compensation Plans, and that offer programs for the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, primary education, Compulsory Secondary Education (including Basic Vocational Training), and post-compulsory education at the high school level and/or intermediate vocational training programs.

"Vulnerable students" are defined as those who fall under any of the following categories: basic needs (food, housing, and essential utilities, etc.), educational needs (supportive family environment, digital divide, school supplies, etc.), socio-educational needs (supplementary and after-school activities, etc.), special educational needs, giftedness, specific learning difficulties, late entry into the education system, and learning difficulties due to unmet needs.

This program has been funded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the Recovery and Resilience Facility, as well as by the European Union under the auspices of that Facility.
