“Learning depends on all the interactions children have, not just those that take place in the classroom. That is why educating parents is the best investment in their children’s academic success.”

Family education at our school is not viewed as an extracurricular activity, but rather as a successful educational initiative endorsed by the international scientific community (INCLUD-ED Project). It is based on the principle that education is a social process that requires the coordinated interaction of all the people involved in a child’s life.

Dialogic Learning as a Foundation

Our approach is based on dialogic learning, which holds that people learn through interactions with others.

For students to succeed, it is crucial that the adult role models in their lives (their families) also participate in educational processes. This creates educational consistency between home and school, which multiplies the impact of learning.

Moving Beyond the "Closed-Door School" Model

In contrast to the traditional model, in which families are merely recipients of information, at CEPr El Chaparral we are committed to:

Regulatory and Reference Framework

Our actions are guided by the LOMLOE (Organic Law 3/2020), which, in its preamble, emphasizes the need for inclusive education and community involvement.

We also follow the guidelines set forth in the Order of June 8, 2012 (Andalusia), which regulates educational institutions as learning communities, emphasizing the importance of collaborative learning.

Family Formation

We are opening our center to provide orientation for new families interested in participating in the Interactive Groups.

This initiative is a key opportunity to gain firsthand insight into how to make these cooperative learning sessions more engaging, where dialogue and collaboration take center stage.

We invite all parents and guardians to join this project, as your presence in the classroom is essential to enriching our students’ educational experience and strengthening our school community.

Your participation makes all the difference!
