🕊️ School: Space for Peace in El Chaparral
At our school, peace isn't just a one-day event—it's how we live together. Here, we share the activities and projects we undertake to foster an environment of respect, support, and joy.
1. Mediator Training: “We Resolve Through Dialogue”
Our students are training to become Peace Mediators. They learn to listen, understand others’ emotions, and help resolve conflicts through dialogue during recess. Little leaders for a harmonious community!
2. Peace Gymkhana (Sports Circuit)
Movement is peace, too! We organize gymkhanas, races, and other activities full of cooperative and team-building challenges. Through sports and team games, we learn that together we can go further and overcome any obstacle.
3. Charity Campaigns: Food Drive and Save the Children
El Chaparral is a community-minded school. Thanks to the generosity of our families, we hold food drives and participate in Save the Children races. Every pound and every step counts in helping those who need it most.
4. Talks on Bullying and Digital Etiquette
Peace begins with respect. We have experts who visit us to teach us how to identify and prevent bullying. We want a school where everyone feels safe, valued, and happy.
5. Music for Peace: Our Concert
We join our voices together for a better world. In our celebrations, music is the universal language that unites us all, no matter where we come from.
